David Glidden was born in 1974 in New York City.
His father, an American, studied American Literature at the University of Pennsylvania. Having survived the horrors of the Vietnam War, and in discovering the Spanish art of Flamenco in a bar in Saigon, he moved to Granada, Spain to learn to play the guitar in the Flamenco tradition and now concertizes worldwide for a living.
